On February 12-13 year 2019, St. Scholastica’s College (SSC) Manila celebrated its college week with the theme: Advocating creativity, sustainability, and collaboration as leaders. The Student’s Affairs Office, in collaboration with the Student Council and Student Organization, created an event called “ORGanic Fair” which was open to students from all units and employees.
Held on the cemented area of the SSC Field, the ORGanic Fair showcased student organizations’ creativity by thinking of products that advocates sustainability. They sold organic materials, recycled and or recyclable things, and locally-made products to respond to the over-all theme of the event.

Student Organizations made their booth even more creative by including games of win-a-prize. This encouraged many students to participate in the said activity. Other booths sold food, clothes, wooden utensils for eating, well-crafted bookmarks, bags, wallets, pens, accessories, and many more.
The collaboration of student organizations with each other, the effort to create a single-themed products, showed the community what is tagged as “collaboration as leaders” on the event’s theme. Organization Fairs, like this one, are different from the usual student organization fair as it is done at the beginning of the school year to recruit new members and to raise organization funds. While unordinary organization fairs and its theme depend on the student leaders’ agreement in a particular year.
