Got another season for your favourite TV show but have to meet a deadline for school works? Don’t worry we got you covered.

In education terms, cramming exists. Cramming is a practice of working to absorb large volumes of informational material and do academic related stuff in a short amount of time. It is often done by students in preparation for upcoming exams or projects especially just before they are due.

Here are some ways to avoid cramming:

  1. Plan study sessions in advance

  • Having planned study sessions can make a student avoid procrastination.

  1. Avoid studying with friends

  • If you have an experience of studying with friends and it did not turn out well, better study on your own, it will make you concentrate more.

  1. Start Early

  2. It can be the hardest technique to do, but starting early can lessen your workload and can help you submit your work on time.

  3. Avoid Entertainment, Priorities First

  • Movies, social media, games and any other forms of entertainment can be a source of distraction.

  1. Sleep on time

  • One of the most effective ways to study is when you have enough sleep. Lack of sleep can be the cause of you not being able to concentrate on your study and work.

  1. Jot things down

  • Jotting things down helps a lot aside from having a list to follow, it is because you're most likely to remember things if you jot it down.

  1. Set a time limit for each subject

  • Allot your time in the subjects you need to focus on and to the subjects that you have a deeper understanding in; it will help you have fair knowledge on each subject.

  1. Prioritize your subjects

  • Use your energy to do the ones that’s closer to the deadline than the ones that are a little further from it.

  1. Ask help when needed

  • Don't own every task if you can't do it alone or if you're having a hard time, take time to ask someone for help, probably from a close friend, a batch mate or someone that is more knowledgeable regarding that subject matter.

  1. Mind Setting

  • By putting your whole mind into your work, you could be done in a second. Focus and remember that it's all in the mind; how you think will be the result of your actions.

Through these tips and tricks you don’t only get to finish your work on or before time, you also have the chance to binge watch your favourite television series! Now, relax, have fun, and take a sip of tea while listening to the new buzz inn town!
